Bladensburg Barber School
I currently went back to an old barber shop my parents used to bring me to as a kid I learned a lot about the culture in the DMV just from being in these spaces along with the mixture of public school that helped me adapt to the Nigerian household upbringing that I was accustomed to.
Bladensburg Barber School has been in the same location since the 1950s and was also one of the first barber schools in Maryland. Prior to it being a barber shop, it was a firehouse in the old days.
